today is the 3rd day as well as our last day in montreal. before heading to the track for the f1 race we decided to grab breakfast at our hotel.
smoked salmon & eggs with croissant
im impressed with the food in montreal. even a quick breakfast at our hotel was very good.
the hamiltons. we all bought McLaren shirts. pretty expensive, i hope i will wear it again at some point in my life.
im so thankful that the weather’s been perfect during our stay in montreal.
i really wanted to watch the drivers parade, but we missed it and only like 5 mins late 😥 i had more than an hour til the real race so walked around the track.
pork belly with his beer and JDM tyte peace pose
poutine truck. tempted to buy but it was wayyyy to hotttt to eat fatty food like this.
the track was open after the race, we got to walk on it
finally, on our way to get some poutine @ Resto La Banquise
poutine is a classic quebecois dish. la banquise is voted the ‘best poutine’ in town as well as the ‘best selection of poutine’. it opens 24/7 !!! traditional poutine consists of fries, curd cheese, and gravy. not only they offer the traditional poutine that pork belly got, but also 25 different kinds of poutine. i ordered the one with ground beef and green pepers.
very dense, heavy, but surprisingly delicious. mine reminds me of philly cheese steak.

after the heavy poutine @ Resto La Banquise, we were ready for some light and refreshing gelato.
i had the mango gelato. oh man, heavenly delish! the best mango gelato ive ever had. super thick mango flavor, it tasted like i was eating a real mango but in gelato.
