i attended an event hosted by WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey and Rialto last weekend.

from left to right:
seasonal appetizers
2011 borgo M pinot grigio delle venezie and 2009 la maialina rosso toscana ‘gertrude’
piggy & the giant peach cocktail- whistle pig rye, tuaca, maple-syrup, peach nectar, peach bitters, smoked peach ice cubes, pork belly swizzle stick garnish.

berried in bliss- whistle pig rye, mirto, balsamic vinegar, smashed summer berries, fennel, lime, Q ginger – my fave drink of the night.

im not a whiskey drinker so i cant comment on how good it is. it’s quite smooth tho and pork belly agrees. he likes whiskey and he said its pretty good.
