if you can only get one thing in new york or flushing, you have to get the lamb skewers 羊肉串儿! these babies are the unicorns of flushing. they are cooked beautifully over charcoals and packed with spices such as cumin and hot peppers. they are super juicy, tender, meaty, and intensely flavored. i HAVE to get them whenever im in town.
as usual, i was getting some 羊肉串儿. this wasnt my usual spot, but i still wanted to try it out since so many people were buying from them as well. more people doesnt always mean good, especially in this case.
they do have a lot more things on the menu compare to other carts. the lamb was not tender nor juicy and lacking flavors. we also ordered some veggies such as potatoes and eggplants; they were all bland. this cart is located at 39th ave and prince street. i wouldnt buy from this cart again! the best lamb skewers are from 39th ave and main street in front of chase bank. for more info, please check out my previous post: click here!
