(Porkbelly) We were lucky enough to have been invited to Bone Fish Grill in Westwood MA. Bonefish Grill is a restaurant chain that started in Florida. Their main focus is seafood and they do it very well. The location has an outside seating that is perfect for the Spring/Summer! Bunny started off with a “Wild Orchid Hawaiian Martini”, “Cruzan Guava rum, pineapple juice, Zico coconut water + the island flavors of desert pear and coconut. Garnished in true Hawaiian-style with a floating orchid” She liked it a lot. I went with a beer. Their most famous dish is their bang bang shrimp and according to their menu it says, ” Our signature appetizer, perfect for sharing. Crispy shrimp, tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce.” I followed that up with an order of very fresh oysters from Maine. We slurped down the oysters immediately.
Since this place was known for their seafood, Bunny got the manager special, MisoYaki Chilean Sea Bass, “grilled over oak, then topped with misoyaki marinade, pickled ginger relish, on a bed of sauteed spinach, mushrooms, jasmine rice” She thought it was perfectly tender, and just the right amount of flakiness. I went with the Scallops and Shrimp, the scallops were perfectly cooked, and the shrimps were big and juicy. I also ordered a side of Crab fried rice, which was made with huge chunks of crab meat.
Overall everything at Bonefish Grill was enjoyable and the seafood taste fresh.
